Are you an experienced IT leader with a passion for driving large-scale transformation and business value through digital initiatives? We are looking for a Director of IT Transformation to join Hultafors Group IT and play a key role in shaping and executing our transformation agenda.

The Opportunity In this pivotal role, you will lead the IT Transformation Office, driving strategic initiatives across the organization to modernize systems, processes, and ways of working. You will be responsible for defining and executing the transformation roadmap, ensuring alignment between IT and business priorities, and delivering measurable business outcomes.

As part of this transformation journey, you will lead and oversee a broad portfolio of strategic initiatives. For example, initiatives within the ERP domain, E-Com projects, WMS and supply chain, data, AI and integration across the Group.

You will report directly to the Group CIO, be part of the Hultafors Group IT, and lead a transformation organization spanning projects, programs and portfolio management. In addition, you will act as Business Relationship Manager (BRM) for one of our Business Divisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the IT transformation strategy, roadmap, and execution plan aligned with business objectives.

• Lead large-scale transformation initiatives. For example, ERP, e-commerce, WMS, data and integrations.

• Establish and drive project and portfolio frameworks to ensure clear prioritization, transparency, and execution discipline across all initiatives.

• Budget management for IT investments (OPEX & CAPEX), including prioritization, funding, and value follow-up.

• Ensure financial control, value realization, and successful change adoption across all transformation initiatives.

• Act as the primary interface for one business division between IT and business, ensuring demand is structured and translated into value-driven initiatives.

About You

You are a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, comfortable navigating both high-level planning and operational execution. You have a strong business acumen and the ability to translate IT opportunities into business value. You thrive in a collaborative environment, are an effective communicator, and have a proven ability to lead and inspire teams through change.

Qualifications and experience:

• Several years of leadership experience within IT transformation, program management, or portfolio management.

• Proven leadership experience of senior roles, for example Program Managers.

• Proven experience driving large-scale transformation initiatives across multiple domains.

• Strong understanding of portfolio management, and demand management processes.

• Experience managing budgets, investments, and financial follow-up for IT initiatives.

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working closely with business leadership.

• Excellent communication and change management skills.

• Relevant academic degree or equivalent experience.
